Songfest 2026 returns for an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of live music and exceptional songwriting. Join us on Friday, August 21 at 8 pm for an intimate concert featuring four remarkable artists: Wil Hodge, Brian Ashley Jones & Melanie Jean, and Diane Durrett.

From heartfelt Americana and country harmonies to soulful blues and inspiring original music, each performer brings a unique voice and captivating stage presence. Nashville-based duo Brian Ashley Jones and Melanie Jean are internationally recognized for their rich vocal harmonies, masterful musicianship, and award-winning songwriting, while Atlanta music icon Diane Durrett delivers powerhouse vocals and authentic Southern soul that have earned her acclaim across the country. Together with acclaimed singer-songwriter Wil Hodge, this lineup promises an evening filled with memorable stories, outstanding musicianship, and songs that will stay with you long after the final encore.

Meet the Artists


Brian Ashley Jones and Melanie Jean Bio

Based in Nashville, TN, Brian Ashley Jones and Melanie Jean are a Country and Americana duo who specialize in vocal harmony, lead guitar and bass guitar. Originally from Upstate South Carolina and a longtime resident of Nashville, TN, Brian is a soulful singer, acclaimed guitarist, and versatile touring songwriter whose guitar-driven Country and Americana tunes have been featured in film, television and radio and have been recorded by Greg Humphries, Hudson K, Donna Hopkins, Diane Michel, Christian Elvestad, Doug Jones and other performing artists.  Originally from Las Cruces, NM, Melanie Jean is an accomplished bassist, singer and songwriter who has toured with a variety of recording artists and earned her degree in music from New Mexico State University. Brian and Melanie have joined forces and perform internationally at festivals, concert series, clubs, and music education programs.


Diane Durrett Bio

Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and Atlanta music icon Diane Durrett is celebrated for her powerhouse vocals, soulful songwriting, and dynamic live performances. Her latest album, Sweet Georgia Blues, continues a career that has produced multiple chart-topping American Roots and blues releases. Durrett has performed alongside artists including Sting, Gregg Allman, and the Indigo Girls, opened for legends such as Tina Turner and Derek Trucks, and currently serves as President of the Recording Academy's Atlanta Chapter. A passionate advocate for music creators, mentor, and producer, she continues to inspire audiences with authentic songs rooted in the rich musical traditions of Georgia.
